ABOUT US

Our doors first opened in the heart of Ipswich in 2018. We evolved quickly and a year later we redesigned to house our ever increasing number of menswear and lifestyle brands. Later that year our second store opened in Woodbridge, featuring a carefully curated selection of brands with everything from locally sourced and made in England products, to Portuguese shirting and Japanese denim. 


Our ethos at Uniform Research is all about quality, service, sustainability, passion and sourcing products from around the world that have their own unique story. The brands we choose are not always the most obvious. We champion the environmentally friendly – those that manufacture without impacting on the environment or exploiting workers. These include: Nudie jeans, which are totally organic and vegan-friendly; Novesta footwear, which are handmade in Slovakia, vegan and chemical free; and Veja trainers, which are sustainable, chemical free and made using partly recycled products.


Other brands we stock include - Folk, Universal Works, Danner, Albam, YMC, Lee 101, Yarmouth Oilskins, Red Wing, Rains, Carhartt, Dickies and Edwin. We also stock a range of lifestyle products, including terrariums from Green Factory and Niwa Design.
